DEUTSCH:
Nach etwa 5 Jahren ist es endlich soweit. Mein Zine A Year Along The Border wurde druckfrisch in einer Auflage von 60 Stück geliefert. Natürlich habe ich nicht 5 Jahre konstant an dem Projekt gearbeitet, aber da Jahreszeiten in den Alpen das Thema sind, mussten zu jeder Jahreszeit innerhalb der letzten 5 Jahre 1-2 Alpenreisen geplant werden, um das Thema vollständig abdecken zu können.
Nun ist es also endlich da, das Zine. Inhaltlich erwarten dich nicht nur zufällig angeordnete Fotos, sondern Fotos, die teilweise einen Bezug zueinander oder einen persönlichen Bezug haben. Dazu gibt es meist ein paar Textzeilen, die entweder technische Informationen zur Fotografie enthalten oder in denen eine kleine Geschichte erzählt wird.
Das Zine besteht aus 44 Seiten und wurde auf hochwertigem Papier gedruckt, damit alle Fotografien entsprechend zur Geltung kommen. Für 20€ + Versandkosten kannst du dir deine Version sichern. Da es sich um eine kleine Auflage handelt, deckt der Preis vor allem die Entstehungskosten.

After about five years, the time has finally come. My zine, A Year Along The Border, has arrived fresh from the printer in a limited edition of 60 copies. Of course, I haven't been working on the project continuously for five years, but since the changing seasons in the Alps are its central theme, I had to plan one or two trips to the Alps during each season over the past five years to fully capture it.
And now, the zine is finally here. Inside, you'll find more than just a random collection of photographs. Many of the images are connected to one another or hold a personal significance. Most are accompanied by a few lines of text containing either technical details about the photograph or a short story behind it.
The zine consists of 44 pages and has been printed on high-quality paper to showcase the photographs in the best possible way. For €20 plus shipping, you can reserve your copy. As this is a small print run, the price primarily covers the production costs.
